Bruce Branham, Ph.D.
Bruce Branham, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Illinois. He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D from the University of Illinois. Branham’s research focuses on poa annua management and control, nitrogen fate and use, and general turfgrass management. His university appointment includes, 40% teaching, 20% extension, 20% research and 20% administration. Branham has been named to the "Incomplete List of teachers ranked as excellent" multiple times at the University of Illinois. His extensive involvement in the turfgrass community includes Interim Head, Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois, and Interim Director, Allerton Park and Retreat Center at the University of Illinois. He has been a GCSAA faculty member since 2005 and he enjoys reading, movies, and attending concerts in his free time.
