Avecita Jones

Avecita Jones is the Senior Program Manager for the City of Carlsbad’s Environmental Sustainability Department. With an MBA and Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas, she played a key role in developing Carlsbad’s first Sustainable Materials Management Plan, advancing environmental stewardship and innovation. Jones is passionate about implementing sustainability programs that benefit the local economy, environment, and the San Diego region.
