Join us for an interactive tour of The Crossings at Carlsbad, a premier public golf course, where environmental stewardship and golf course excellence go hand in hand. Led by superintendents, this tour explores the thoughtful design and history of the course, showcasing how collaboration with various regulatory bodies has paved the way for sustainable golf. From conservation projects like their Arbor Day tree planting initiative to the preservation of wildlife habitats, The Crossings sets a model for balancing the beauty of nature with the demands of the sport. Participants will gain firsthand insights into how to navigate environmental concerns while fostering mutually beneficial solutions.
Check in will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Pacific Ballroom Foyer, Level 1 of the Marriott Marquis. Buses will depart promptly at 1:00 p.m. Enjoy an air-conditioned bus ride while connecting with peers from around the globe. Alternate transportation to and from The Crossings at Carlsbad will not be provided. Attendees are encouraged to wear walking shoes and comfortable apparel for the weather.
