Jordan Booth, CGCS, Ph.D.
Jordan Booth, CGCS, Ph.D., is the Director of the USGA Course Consulting Service. Booth is a Certified Golf Course Superintendent and worked in golf course maintenance for over 12 years. Prior to joining the USGA, Booth served in a research and extension role for Virginia Tech while undertaking his graduate work. Jordan’s research was focused on turfgrass pathology, management of ultradwarf bermudagrass putting greens, and precision turfgrass management. As the Director of Course Consulting, Booth oversees the USGA’s team of agronomists who work with golf courses throughout North America. He also regularly makes consulting and championship visits.
