Pablo A Boeri, Ph.D.

Pablo Boeri, Ph.D., is an assistant professor and turfgrass extension specialist at Texas A&M AgriLife. His expertise encompasses turfgrass management, water quantity and quality protection, fertilizers, plant physiology, and integrated weed management. Boeri earned a master’s and Ph.D. at the University of Florida, where he worked on topics such as turfgrass drought responses, water quality, and mixed species landscapes. In addition to his academic work, Boeri has hands-on experience in the turfgrass industry, where he has assisted managers of golf courses, sports fields, and commercial lawns in addressing management challenges related to weeds and pests. At Texas A&M, his program promotes sustainable turfgrass management by advocating for the adoption of improved turfgrass cultivars and practices such as the 4Rs of nutrient stewardship, integrated weed management, utilizing alternative water sources, and applying soil amendments to enhance soil health.
