Tom Huesgen, CGCS
Tom Huesgen, CGCS, is the director of Agronomy at Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University in agricultural science and a degree in psychology and business management from the University of Missouri. Huesgen came to Rancho Santa Fe after successful superintendent tenures at Sahalee Country Club, Poppy Hills and Pebble Beach — and time as project manager and superintendent at Cornerstone Golf Club in Montrose, Colo. Huesgen, a 31-year member of GCSAA, was first Certified in 2002.
