Brian Powell, CGCS
Brian Powell, CGCS, is based in Pinehurst, N.C. and is a Customer Success Agronomist for the USGA. Prior to his current position, he worked as a Director of Agronomy at Old Chatham Golf Club and prior to that as a regional golf course superintendent managing multiple golf courses for Club Development Associates based in Atlanta, Ga. Powell has the experience of conducting USGA Championships as the host Superintendent and has served the golf industry by participating on numerous committees and boards, including the GCSAA Technology Task Group, Research Panel, Government Relations, and Drought Resource Task Force. Powell is a Past President of the Carolinas GCSA and a 33-year member of GCSAA.
