Roch E Gaussoin, Ph.D.
Roch Gaussoin, Ph.D., is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a native New Mexican and an alumnus of New Mexico State University, earning his bachelor’s in Agronomy and his master’s in Crop Science. His Ph.D. was completed at Michigan State University in Turfgrass Science. Gaussoin conducted academic research for more than 35 years. He is a frequently invited speaker to conferences nationally and internationally. Gaussoin received the Distinguished Service Award from the Nebraska Turfgrass Association, the Exceptional Service Award from the Nebraska GCSA and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America Col. John Morley Distinguished Service Award. In 2023, he received the USGA Green Section Award.
