Ryan R Deering
Ryan Deering is the Equipment Manager at Rolling Green Country Club and serves as the MAGCS Technician Liaison. With 15 years of experience in his family’s commercial landscaping business, Deering honed his skills in equipment repair, gaining valuable knowledge while working alongside his grandfather, a golf course superintendent from the 1960s. Afterward, he spent seven years as an equipment trainer and manager at The Home Depot before taking on his current role at Rolling Green Country Club in January 2022. Committed to professional growth, Deering was awarded the prestigious Melrose Grant in 2024, enabling him to attend the GCSAA conference in Phoenix. He has since earned his EMCP Level 2 and continues to serve as the Technician Liaison for his local GCSAA chapter, MAGCS. Notably, Deering became the first Equipment Manager to attend National Golf Day. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys a fulfilling life with his wife, Amanda, and their two children, Alice and Henry. The family cherishes spending time together, especially at events like Monster Jam and the play Into the Woods.
