Jared B Viarengo, CGCS
Jared is the Director of Grounds and Club Operations at Applebrook Golf Club
in Malvern, PA. He is a certified superintendent and a 30-year member of the
GCSAA. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Northeastern
University, his associate’s degree in Turfgrass Management at the University of
Massachusetts, and his Master of Science in Management from the University of
Maryland University College. Jared was hired to grow in the course at
Applebrook Golf Club over 24 years ago and served as the club's General
Manager for 10 of those years. During his tenure, he has managed numerous
projects. In addition to the Turf Care Center, he has overseen the installation of
two irrigation systems, two bunker renovations, and several other projects,
including the construction of a Golf Learning Center. Jared resides in
Pennsylvania with his wife and has two sons in college.
