Daniel Meersman
Dan Meersman is the Director of Grounds at the Philadelphia Cricket Club and also the Founder- Matrix Bunker Systems. He earned an associates in Business Administration from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and bachelors in Agronomy from Michigan State University. Meersman was born into the superintendent profession – a third generation golf course superintendent. Prior to joining the Philadelphia Cricket Club, he served as the superintendent at Victoria National Golf Club, Ind., and at Copper Hill CC, N.J. Meersman’s awards in the Industry include 2012 Turfnet Superintendent of the Year, 2013 Golf Course Industry, Super Social Media Awards- Outstanding Blogging, and the 2013 Completed Full-Scale, Sympathetic Restoration of Philadelphia Cricket Club’s A.W. Tillinghast designed, Wissahickon Course with Golf Course Architect, Keith Foster.
