Josh Lewis
Josh Lewis holds a B.S. in Horticulture/Turf Management from Oregon State University and is a Class A member of the GCSAA. Over the course of his 25 years in the golf course industry Josh has worked at a total of 7 Top-100 courses including stops at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Eugene Country Club, Pasatiempo Golf Club and Chambers Bay where he was the Superintendent for the 2015 US Open Championship. Josh’s career has included hosting multiple USGA championships including the 2006 Curtis Cup Matches, 2007 Men’s Mid-Amateur, 2008 Women’s Amateur and 2015 US Open, as well as an extensive background in golf course construction and grow-in including the construction and grow-in of Bandon Trails, major renovations associated with the preparation for the US Open at Chambers Bay, and the final phase of an 11-year master plan at Pasatiempo. Josh has held board positions on 3 GCSAA chapters or allied associations in 3 different states, and currently serves as the President of the GCSA of Northern California. Josh’s most recent golf course stop was at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club where he developed a full master plan and course renovation project for the Club. He has recently accepted an offer to join the Los Angeles based agronomic consulting and project management firm of Gradoville & Hertzing Management Group. As a Partner in the firm, he hopes to be able to have a broader reach throughout the industry and use his diverse background and experience to help support the superintendent community.
