Jacob Mendoza
Jake Mendoza is the Head Superintendent at Detroit Golf Club, in Detroit Michigan. Mendoza’s career started as a high school student working at the local country club. From there he attended the Rutgers’ Professional Golf Turf Management Program, graduating in 2005. Prior to Detroit Golf Club, he was an intern at Winged Foot Golf Club in 2004, Assistant Superintendent at Rich Harvest Farms for three years, and ten years working through the ranks at Medinah Country Club. Detroit Golf Club is a 36 hole Donald Ross Design, which currently hosts the PGA Tour’s Rocket Mortgage Classic.
