Ron Katen
Ron Katen, A.I.A is Vice President of KATEN CONSULTING, a Certified 100%-owned Women Business Enterprise (WBE) New York-based professional development training company. He has facilitated professional development programs in both the military and civilian arenas. Ron served in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During his tenure with the Army, Ron served as a member of the faculty at the U.S. Army Engineer School, Fort Belvoir, in Virginia where he taught various engineering subjects including the design and construction of fixed bridges. Mr. Katen received his Masters Degree from Harvard University and worked for many years as an Architect overseeing the design and construction of a wide variety of New York City academic, institutional, and governmental structures and facilities. Ron continues to lead KATEN CONSULTING’s government client contracts, maintain the company’s WBE certifications, and facilitate client programs across the country.
