Ben Hamza, Ph.D.
Ben Hamza, Ph.D., is the Product Development Association Director at FMC Corporation headquarters in Philadelphia, Pa. He earned his Ph.D. in Crop & Soil Sciences from Michigan State University with emphasis on Plant Nutrition and Stress Physiology and Executive MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute. Hamza is a leader of FMC’s Global Specialty Solutions (GSS) team which includes R&D, technical services, and formulation chemistry and his group is involved in the development of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and biologicals for use by the Turf & Ornamental Community as well as consumers. He is a long-time member of Crop Science Society of America, American Society of Agronomy, and Soil Science Society of America. Hamza has spoken at regional and national conferences and served on advisory panels and boards of several regional green industry associations in the Midwest.
