Jimmy D Humston
Jimmy Humston is the golf course superintendent at Sand Valley Golf Resort. He earned a bachelor’s in business management from Austin Peay State University where he played on the golf team. Next, Humston earned his bachelor’s in turfgrass management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He then worked in athletic surfaces at UT before becoming an assistant golf course superintendent and superintendent. Humston is also working as part of a team to help restore The Lido Golf Club in the sand dunes of Central Wisconsin.
