Kayla L Kipp, CTEM
Kayla Kipp, CTEM, is Equipment Manager at Nemacolin in Farmington, Pa., and served in the US Air Force as a Heavy Equipment Journeyman for 6 years. That experience, paired with attention to detail and integrity, has led her to maintaining and managing a fleet of 175 pieces of golf and grounds maintenance equipment, 62 reels, and a 3,000 sq. ft. maintenance facility. Nemacolin is the home of two Pete Dye designed 18-hole courses, Mystic Rock Golf Course and Shepherd’s Rock Golf Course. Kipp is no longer alone in the facility as she has a 17-year veteran chief mechanic at her side. She has also performed work for Wisp Resort in McHenry, Md., Thousand Acres Lakeside Golf Club in Swanton, Md. and Stoneleigh Golf and Country Club in Round Hill, Va. She has been in her role at Nemacolin for less than a year after serving as the sole technician at Wisp Resort for 8 years.
