Joshua C Friell
Josh Friell, Ph.D., serves as Chief Research Scientist in the Center for Technology, Research & Innovation at The Toro Company. As a member of the CTRI team, he is working to address Green Industry challenges through the use of data and innovative technologies. Friell earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Plant Sciences at the University of Minnesota. A native of Wisconsin, Friell lives in Minneapolis with his wife Kate and enjoys hiking and camping in his free time.
