Alejandra Sierra

Alejandra Sierra is a Ph.D. student from Honduras working under the supervision of Marco Schiavon, Ph.D., at the Turfgrass Science Lab at the Fort Lauderdale Research Center of the University of Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Zamorano University and a Master’s in Horticulture with a minor in Soil and Water Sciences from the University of Florida. Sierra worked at Zamorano University for 15 years as an assistant professor in the Agricultural Sciences and Production department where she teaches and developed research and supervised commercial horticultural production.
