Good & Bad Tree Care Practices - Do This, Not That
Monday, February 3
3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Registration Required
There are as many good tree care practices that need to be done as there are ones to be avoided. The elimination of co-dominant leaders, timely pest control and crown cleaning are among the good ones, while elevations, lion’s tailing and topping are on the bad list. In addition to the good and bad practices, there are some “maybes” and “others” as well, depending on the tree species and the situation on the golf course. Find out what to ask your tree service to do and not do and learn the benefits and negative consequences of each.
