This seminar will provide a comprehensive weed management overview and breakdown of plant growth regulator usage in warm-season and overseeded turfgrasses. The basic understanding of weed biology, ecology, and life cycles of turfgrass weeds is just the tip of the iceberg, along with the cause, prevention, and management of herbicide resistant populations. A portion of this seminar will focus on types of resistances and tips for identification and management. Holistic pre-and post-emergence herbicides programs will be constructed along with implementing known management practices to reduce weed pressures.
