(574-01) This seminar offers real life scenarios to explain how and why fungicides work, and why they may not. Attendees will gain an understanding of fungicides to make better disease control decisions, and how to communicate chemical control issues with administrators, staff, patrons, and the public. Although this seminar will not focus on lists of diseases and fungicides, questions about products for turf disease control will be welcomed and addressed. Topics include: Fungicide movement in turf, mode of action, resistance, and factors affecting fungicide performance.
