(1159-01) Pesticides are one component of comprehensive pest management programs, and itβs imperative for land managers to understand how to optimize without adversely affecting environmental health. Attendees will learn about the best management practices for increasing pest control while minimizing off-target movement and injury on their course by developing a better understanding of the biological and chemical attributes of pesticides after application. This seminar will provide education for attendees to devise and implement best management practices for pesticide use on their golf course facility to reduce pesticide inputs, increase fiscal savings, and reduce environmental footprints.
