(1365-01) Healthy communication with others is essential to everyone's personal and professional success. Understanding your mental health and that of others is essential to a successful business team and operation. Through her 6 "Kee" Concepts of Communication and almost 40 years of mental health counseling, Kee Dunning, LCPC, LMFT, helps people to be better bosses, employees, spouses, and parents. As a self-proclaimed "golf addict" Kee brings a unique perspective to the discussion having worked 20+ years part time on various golf facility maintenance staffs. She will review skills to interact with and lead others that result in better staff retention. Peter Grass, CGCS, brings "real life" personal and professional experiences to the seminar. He’ll discuss how traits that most in the golf industry have that make them good at their job can also be challenges to deal with mentally and physically. Through role playing and candid discussion, we’ll discover how to achieve successful communication/interactions while being mindful of everyone’s mental health to help lead a better life at work and at home.
