Operation of different equipment requires knowing the hazardous parts of the machine, the safety features each contains and the personal protective equipment (PPE) that you need for the task at hand. Specifics will be discussed as well as steps to consider in your operator safety training program. The shop attesting process for Certified Turf Equipment Manager (CTEM) includes numerous safety items as identified in the attesting rubric and these will be addressed in the seminar to aid in preparation for said attesting. Learn ways to help your team see safety in what they do, both in the shop and on the course.
