(2069-01) There are many details to putting green rootzone management. This seminar will start with soil testing (chemical and physical), water, and tissue testing so you can use test results to build your own fertility and soil amendment programs. We will then move into water management on high sand greens – how to water the rootzone, flushing, syringing vs. hand watering, LDS, wetting agents, and moisture meters. Next, we move into proper cultural management programs for the newer turf varieties – bentgrasses and ultradwarf bermudagrasses. These grasses often require special considerations to manage a more robust organic matter. Join us to learn the latest practices.
