-- SOLD-OUT --

(2076-01) This look at seasonal stresses of annual bluegrass takes a calendar-based approach to using Best Management Practices (BMPs) to combat such stress. We’ll start with winter diseases and stresses, exploring fungicide options, alternatives to traditional pesticides, and the effects of winter traffic on turfgrass performance. For shoulder seasons, we’ll dive deep into PGRs, cultivation & topdressing, as well as cultivation recovery, and developing growing degree day (GDD) models for PGR re-application. Summer stresses include anthracnose, looking at fungicides and their BMPs, insect pests on putting greens, and plant-parasitic nematodes.
