(2072-01) Pesticides are a critical part of an integrated pest management strategy on golf courses. However, pesticide use is coming under increasing scrutiny as governmental restrictions and public pressures increase. In this interactive seminar, we will discuss strategies for increasing the precision of fungicides used for disease control, methods for quantifying the toxicological risk of pesticide programs, and ways that you can present your pest management program to management and the general public in a positive light. A golf course in Minneapolis, Minn. will be used as a case study to show the real-world implications for this approach.
