Cesar D Cartagena
Cesar Cartagena is a biologist from the University of Chicago specializing in Ecology/Evolution and Animal Behavior. Prior to joining OMRI, Cartagena worked for the U.S. Forest Service in various biodiversity conservation projects in the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. He also worked as a lab technician in Phase I/II clinical trials involving infectious diseases for biopharmaceutical companies based in Florida. Cartagena has extensive experience in organic certification as a technical reviewer, inspector, technical advisor, and as the former General Manager for Quality Certification Services' various remote offices in Latin America. Currently, Cartagena is the Content Coordinator and Technical Advisor for OMRI’s Marketing Department.
