Brian A Mavis
Brian Mavis is the owner of Mavis Consulting, an independent agronomic consulting firm specializing in turf and soil management. He earned his bachelor’s in Applied Health Science from Bowling Green State University and has been an agronomist associated with Brookside Laboratories. Prior to establishing his consulting business, Mavis worked in golf course maintenance and was an employee for Nester Ag Management. He works with hundreds of golf courses in many states and countries, but the majority of the work is in the Midwestern United States. Mavis was raised on a farm in Northwest Ohio where he currently lives with his wife Joni and four children. He enjoys spending time coaching his children’s various teams, hunting and fishing.
