Shelia M Finney
Shelia Finney is Sr Director of Members Programs at GCSAA. She was the Executive Director of the TGCSA and the TN Turfgrass Association. In May 2015 she retired from Gaylord Springs Golf Links in Nashville, TN as the Golf Course Superintendent after 25 years. Working at Gaylord Springs since the construction of the course she had the opportunity to host the BellSouth Senior Classic SPGA event for 10 years. While at Gaylord Springs she also oversaw the transition of the bentgrass greens to MiniVerde Ultradwarf and the renovation of the tees and fairways from 419 bermuda to Myers Zoysia. And survived the 500 year flood of 2010. Prior to that she worked at Richland Country Club for 5 years. She served on the Middle TGCSA section for 20 years in all the positions of the board. She also served on the board of the TTA for 20 years. Finney has served on several GCSAA committees. Shelia resides in Arrington, TN on an 8 acre mini farm with her honeybees, chickens and Border Collie Anya..
